Welcome to the Bison Department of Picuris Pueblo, where we are dedicated to the stewardship and management of our bison herd. Our mission is to honor the cultural significance of bison in Native American history while promoting sustainable practices that benefit our community and the environment.
The Bison Department aims to:

Bison Tours
We will soon be offering an immersive experience with our bison herd! Our guided tours will offer an opportunity to witness these incredible animals in their natural habitat while learning about their significance in Native American culture. Tours are designed for all ages and can be customized for school groups, families, or visitors.
